KALAHARI DESERT CAMP - INTRODUCTION
A small intimate camp in the heart of the Kalahari
Kalahari Desert Camp is situated on the north-eastern side of the Central Kalahari Game Reserve in a private wildlife reserve of some 15 000 hectares.
Kalahari Desert Camp is a small, intimate camp catering for just 12 guests, offering privacy and an exclusive experience of this wonderful landscape.
A well-appointed dining area, lounge, swimming pool and viewing deck overlook an active waterhole.
Accommodation is in 6 large meru tents, elevated on platforms. Each tent is tastefully furnished with either twin or double bed configurations, a relaxation area and en-suite bathrooms with al fresco showers.
Kalahari Desert Camp is a land camp offering: game drives and night drives. The game experience is enhanced through off-road operating – key to delivering a quality Kalahari game viewing experience with its vast open areas.
The camp is serviced by Shadow-view airstrip - only a 45 minute flight from Maun, or by 4x4 vehicle from Maun.
