Footsteps in Africa - Savuti Ghoha
Savuti Ghoha

Savuti Ghoha Camp is perched on the Ghoha Hills, overlooking the vast expanse of the Savute area of Chobe National Park. The elevated position of the camp offers breathtaking views, surely some of the very best in Botswana!
The Camp has been designed to take full advantage of the view whether dining in the guest areas, taking a swim or sitting on the balcony of the chalets. The Camp also overlooks a small natural pan attracting a host of bird and wildlife.
Located some 40 minutes north of Savuti Airstrip, we can provide privacy and exclusivity to our guests, especially as the Savuti area can get quite busy during high season.
The guest area is a thatch roofed building with semi-enclosed sides and shaded by large trees. There is a comfortable lounge, dining room, library, bar, fire-pit and a pool built into the rock.
Each of the 8 thatch and canvas chalets offer en-suite facilities and breathtaking views of the African plains which can be enjoyed from the individual viewing decks or reclining on the bed.
Activities are in comfortable 4 x 4 game drive vehicles. Game drives to the nearby pans are exclusively on our own road network and promise to provide guests with great game viewing within close proximity to the lodge. Guests will also enjoy the full Savuti experience - the marsh and the Savuti Channel.
There is a bird hide only one kilometre from camp which provides guests with a peaceful haven to view great wildlife all day.
